PRINTING

Once you’ve got all your images and fonts in one place and the fonts are active, you’re ready to print. The print dialog box in InDesign looks a little different from the one in XPress, but covers the same features.

Specify the pages you want to print in the “general” pane.

In the setup pane, make sure you choose the tektronics printer, and tabloid extra for paper size. Select the appropriate orientation—portrait for single page ads, and landscape for double page spreads.

If you want crop marks for trimming your work to size, make sure you check them in the “marks & bleeds” pane.

If you’ve used any transparencies, choose the transparency flattener you want to use. If it isn’t an option, it will flatten automatically.

Once you've got all your options selected, just hit the print button!
